Default Vld

Produce a lead core version of this general bullet design.

It might be a little on the heavy side, this is one is all copper and has a mass of 30 grains. Producing one in lead would render a roughly 36.9 grain vld with a B.C north of .45 even with a 0.05" meplat.

Then again, you could just get these and a 6 twist barrel and have a .379 bc.

26g Hollow Point Flat Base 7S

26g Soft Point Flat Base VLD

29g Hollow Point RBBT 7S

I did some jacket drawing and I think we will be able to make a thick jacketed heavy for those of you with the 6T, when I have some prototypes up and ready I'll get with you folks and ship some out to be played with.

RBBT is Rebated Boat Tail.
7S is the ogive, the curvature of the front section of the bullet

Can't have it all from one gun unfortunately. A 9 twist will just never shoot a 37 grain .172 cal projectile. On the bright side it provides you with a great reason to build another gun. I have the same obstacle in front of me.

The 32g HP RBBT 7S are up and available. I'll be working on the heavier ones soon, just waiting on some supplies to make them on thicker jackets.
