Default 20 Vartarg Feeding From 700 Magazine?

Common practice, or is one doomed to single-shot; if do-able, how much effort to make it work? Have a .221/ADL.

if you have a 221 box/follower should feed like butter. If you go single shot, I'll buy your follower.

Default 20 vt

Like said above, if you have a FACTORY 221 FB action, a 20 VT should feed and eject just fine.
I tried it with a 223 Rem 700 action, and feeding and ejection were unsolveable problems.

Feeding can be solved with a 221fb box, follower, and spring. Ejection thought, only a FB base ejector or aftermarket extractor will solve that issue.

221 followers are as hard to get as moon rocks. If anybody has a line on one, please let me know.

I guess I'm real curious as to why an ADL in .221 wouldn't feed a .20 VarTarg . I'd a thought it would enough to just move forward with the project but as I like to make very clear, I am a shooter and a reloader and not a gunsmith.
My .20 VT is built on a CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar with the HS stock that started life as a .223, feeds flawlessly out of the .223 magazine and always has. Maybe I just got lucky?

PTG are single shot followers. You can find them about anywhere. I need a factory follower for a repeater.

This isn't a single shot follower. This is what you want.

You sure? Someone posted that before and even called PTG and they said single shot? I'll call Monday.
