Once this becomes "Official" if you'd like I can post a link on 6br and see how much interest we can generate....

A sticky or separate "I`m in" thread would be nice.....

Phil.

P.S....Looks like 8 barrels so far....not too shabby of a start....

Default .20 Bartlein Barrels

Philip,

I hope not. I would definitely like one even if it takes 8-12 months to receive it. I have 431 rounds through the one I have now. Supposedly the 1:9 twist with a big case behind it only goes 8-900 rounds. I really would like to have an extra Bartlein already in my possession when I need it. 410gauge

I have one of their .20 caliber barrels from years ago. It's pretty good.

Default Bartlein Group Buy

How about it Jim and moderators? Is this santioned and possible (see quote above)?

My quick count shows 18 - 20 (hopefully no duplicates!) barrels spoken for above.

Can we get this "stickied"? Is 20 barrels sufficient quantity for Bartlein? If so, we would need someone (hopefully with contact within Bartlein) to coordinate and oversee the group buy. This is likely a considerable commitment in time and frustration as I seldom see anyone agree to a second go around of handling group buys.

[quote=frank green;198493]To give you all an idea.....from 2006-2013 we only took orders for 63 of them. That's an average of 9pcs. a year. All of them that we've made and customers I've talked to all have had no complaints on how they shot.

Certainly agree with that, .2 when i do my bit.

It occurs to me that what Frank is saying is that given enough volume and a customer prepared to wait ( and no bitching or chasing) until they get to the top of the queue then he would build them. So I guess its in your hands, give him 50+ and maybe he might play.

Count me out, at the current rate my current one will last another year or two then I have another to chamber up and put on.

Let me know what's going on with this! I'd be interested in one for sure and don't care how long it takes.
