X-Caliber 30 cal. 17tw.
I have been having some people ask me about a 30 cal 1-17tw recently just curious if we started offering this twist how much interest.

I am not a 30 caliber person but I would think a 17tw would stabilize
only very light bullets for a specific purpose. What purpose, I don't know. Kenny

A 1 in 17" twist is generally the preferred twist for the 30BR.

Not to derail, but I am curious about the 7mm 8" 5R. How well proven is the 5R vs. the standard six groove? |

I've seen lots of 5R barrels on the f-class line. I had a 5R bartlein 6mm that shot like a house of fire. But that being said I prefer a 4 grove barrel. In general they seem to shoot better for me.

I think the 5R is personal preference, I am having a gentleman testing a 6mm 3G at 1,000yds that's showing very good results.

I am waiting on a borescope for 17 cal. our vendor is telling us 3 weeks I'm not taking orders until I can look down them. It's getting a lot close though I know it's been along wait for these but we won't put them out until I'm comfortable there right.
