Success!!
The answer seems to have lied in just the right amount of overall travel Caming) with the body die. Not enough (bumping) and it would"t chamber, to much and it would't extract and eject. Just the right amount and it does both with just a little resistance when closing the bolt. A little extra Imperial probably helped. Thanks again to all. Bob |

Bob,
Some type of comparator such as the Hornady will become your best friend. My advice is push the shoulder back just far enough to chamber. Once you get a fire formed case use your comparator to measure a case fire-formed in your chamber and use this for a baseline for bumping. You do not want to bump that shoulder more than necessary or your case will stretch with each firing. Eventually you will have a case separation.
