CZ 527 - the 222 mags are shorter and so is the opening in the bottom metal. Don't see my you couldn't simply use the 223 mags and bottom metal.

My .222's are Sako's and a Howa, but I can't imagine why a .223 magazine would not work. The Howa .204, .222-.223 magazine feeds the .222 like butter. As much as I like my .222's, I doubt that any factory rifle, or 99% of the shooters can shoot it better than a .223 with an equal quality rifle. Sierra even uses the .223 for testing accuracy of all their .224 bullets.

I have a spare CZ 527 take-off barrel in 223 that could be re-homed in your direction.
