I would use 2 grains less than 20gr. data and start there, for the 17gr. loads.

You still have to work up your own data for YOUR rifle by starting at a lower load than ANYTHING posted as a moderate or maximum load.

I don’t shoot the 17 gr bullet in my 17 AH but when I did a test with the 15.5 gr NTX, I started with my 20 gr working load and developed a load from there. The cool thing was my load shot almost to the same POI so when shooting PDs I could use either load.

Folks ,

Someone as in the publisher / author has the file for the book .
You may be able to get in touch with the author and see about a second edition if there is enough interest , or perhaps he would make you a copy for you on disc .
None of which I mean to imply would be free !!!!
