Big, small bore: Hefley Creek 2005 - 6 pounder barrel and carriage, but only a 1 1/2" bore. My bro, lining up another shot.
Nice little 'rainbow' on a 4 wgt. Sage- about 24" long. They were just cleaning up after spawning a month before - another week and they all were bright silver, as this one was - but after bonking him, he went dark. Oh well - tasted just fine, broiled against an open fire.

Daryl,
IF that's your bro lining up the gun in the top pic, is that you with the fishing rod in the bottom pic? Ken.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys
The Large Munsterlander is a Hunt, Point, Retrieve breed. Similar to a German Pointer, and the LM shares its ancestry with the German Long Hair Pointer. You have a breed club in the USA the LMCNA. They are very versatile and I use mine to great effect when shooting Grouse, Partridge and Pheasant on driven shooting, as well as Duck and Geese for wildfowling. Personally, I think they excel on deer hunting, where they happily point deer before I see them, and then track any wounded deer. They weigh in around 35-40KG (100lb) this is Zak, my 8 yr old male something a bit different for you guys in the USA a Fallow deer and a Red deer and a Roe deer |
