Default Howa Mini

While I have never handled one I am going to ask the question are they that good.
Will a floorplate bottom metal ever be available ?
What are the chances of getting descent stocks?.I mean the factory offerings are well off.IMHO.
Will the action be able to feed different case diameters and lengths ie 221,222,PPC and BR based cartridges ?.
Is the standard Howa 1500 trigger used or another design?.
Thank you in advance.

The standard Howa short action already worked well with the .221 Fireball, as a friend of mine built one just before Remington did up the Classic in Fireball. His Howa worked fine (you DID have to be careful when loading the magazine, but it fed just fine if you put the cartridges against the back of the magazine.

I can't think of a reason why the new action wouldn't work well with the Fireball or .222, Howa even offered the .222 for awhile, IIRC.

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess they use the standard Howa trigger, Timney makes a workable trigger if you don't like the factory trigger.
