I know it’s a llong shot, but I wanted to see if someone had one they were willing to sell before I start buying parts to build one.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks

I have a factory 700 Varmint I'd sell. Mint condition. This rifle came from the factory with a 26" barrel. I had my gunsmith cut it down to 24". The rifle never did feed very good so I just use a single shot follower which can be taken out easily. I'd say it has 4 to 500 rounds through it. Very accurate with my loads. Cant say what it would do with factory ammo because I've never found any to try. I love the FB so much I had a custom light weight rifle built. I'd take $800.

Default 17 mk iv

Ryan:

I have a 17MIV which is virtually identical to the 17FB. It is a Sako L461 action in a great stock. Pac-Nor barrel and custom chambered. Trigger is set @ 2#, the lightest it can go with a Sako factory trigger. I have at least 500 fireformed neck turned Remington 221 Fireball brass Includes forming, sizing, and seating dies. Will not shoot the 25 gr V-Max as is a 10 twist barrel, so used Hornady 25 gr HP which is good for coyotes. Using H335 I loaded to 3,750 fps for accuracy.

It is a repeater, but I only load single shot. Would have to check to see if it will load as a repeater.

Unfortunately, I am leaving for my winter home in 6 days, so sending pics, checking the repeater action, receiving funds, and sending to an FFL of your choice would be pushing it. Will return home in April, if you are willing to wait that long.

Chuck

Chuck, let’s talk when you get back. I’d rather just go 17fb but I may consider yours if I don’t halve luck finding something by then.
Thanks
Ryan

Ryan, I also have a Sako Vixen L461 with a Shilen 17M4 varmint weight SS barrel bedded in a Boyd's T/H laminated stock and a Canjar Single Set Trigger. Will come with a set of Redding Comp dies including their Comp Seating Die, over 400 fired cases and beaucoup bullets too if wanted. It's set up with a single shot follower now (removable), have never tried it as a repeater.

Getting out of .17 CF, as I'm much more enthused with .20 caliber rifles for what I do. And there's always another project that 'needs' funding.

Shoot me a PM for pics and details if interested.

I guess it depends on what you have. Shoot me a message on what you’ve got.
