Default Heads Up on 22LR Availibility...

Just received Wideners email and they have some 22LR ammo availble.

CCI Mini-Mag High Velocity 22 LR 40 Gr Plated Lead RN $8.95 per 100 count box.
LIMIT 50 BOXES PER ORDER PER DAY!

https://www.wideners.com/itemdetail....m_id=100000260

With its scarcity just thought some here would appreciate knowing...

Thanks for the heads up Larry. I sure hope some Blazer shows up in the near future.

Natchetz had some Blazer few days ago, but they wanted $55 a brick. I refuse to pay that much for those. I would have bought the CCI's from Widners, but they show out of stock now.

I wonder how many people are panic buying them 5000 a time ? By doing this surly it adds to the problem of availability for others ? But surly even a varminter or target shooter wouldn't use this many even in a year ? - i could be wrong tho .

The bubble is gonna pop soon, and it will be amusing to see the local gun shows and swap-meets flooded with bricks of crap ammo.

Next thing you know you'll be tripping over bricks of Blazer and Fed 550 which have been gobbled up at every Walmat for the past year.

I go to the range about 4 times a week and it's always the same few people there shooting the same guns and the same amount of ammo.

All the horded ammo is being purchased but not used.

The bubble will pop.... Just give it a little longer.

Default I wish I could turn on a fan

to increase the evaporation rate.............to get that bubble to pop sooner.

I saw the Wideners listing and while scratching my head, I'm trying to imagine how much was shipped in to put that large a limit ( 1/2 case) / day. It had to be a carload.............we can always hope for some std vel for us BE shooters.

Default Heads up on 22lr

I see Midsouth as Norma target 40gr for a little less than 6.00 per 100. As most are saying the price will or should come down in time. Bill K
