My opinion
Is that one of the major bullet makers is losing out on a high quality 45-50gr mkt.

Right now, all I know that have some in that weight area, that are shooting pretty darn good, is the Berger's. Just need a faster twist in your barrel. Bill K

The Berger 40gr. bullet is one scary accurate projectile. I love em in my 20 TAC's. 25.3 grains of VV N-133 and you're ready to go. John Kruzan

Berger's website shows G1 BC of 0.227 and G7 of 0.116
An older chart of theirs shows G1 of 0.225 and G7 of 0.115. Ken.

Hippy, at one time Randy R made 40 gr bullets that were great. I hear he was thinking of a 50 gr if jackets became available. I can't imagine you'd get a bad bullet from Randy. Worth a call to him.

When ever I used to shoot 100BR I used 50 gr Bergers, they shoot .2 using a bipod !!. Suspect that 55s would do likewise.
