I am from Lander, still have a lot of family over there but live in Casper now. We saw the movie as well and thought it was done very well. A couple of names were mispronounced but that was easily overlooked. Good movie and well worth seeing. You really get a sense of the drug and alcohol problems on the reservation, which are very real.

I, too, enjoyed the movie and the story it told. Some background on Taylor Sheridan's reason for writing the story and then directing it himself.

The quote printed at the end of the movie, is hard to believe and a motivation for the movie and many actors choosing to be in it.The quote is in the below link and talked about.

The Movie has a nice shot looking down Main Street of of our little mountain town of Lander, WY. Even though none of the rest of the movie was filmed here.

Park City has more Starbucks than Lander does, so they won out as the filming site.......
