When I competed in Highpower, N540 was my go to powder with the 75 grain hp, but I never used a lighter bullet. I got very good velocity and 10 shots magazine fed into 1 1/2" at 200 yards with the NM sights on my Armalite. This is on a Highpower target which if memory serves is something like a 11" black center using a 6 oclock hold. The velocity keeps creeping up as you up the load, but when you hit the point where it goes over, you really know it.
