Default Anybody out there purposely down-loaded the 20 Vartarg waaay down?

I was curious how well the 20 vartarg would shoot with a bare minimal 13 to 15 grains or so of powder possible behind the 32-39 gr bullet. (??) I figured if I'm not out busting woodchuck or PD carcass, it would be nice to shoot paper as close to Hornet performance as possible with similar minimal blast and minimal recoil......just like that of a maximum loaded Hornet. (We all know a "max" loaded Hornet is still a pussy-cat and a fun round to shoot.)

I was wondering too if the accuracy of such a "relaxed" load would be adversely affected. (??)

If I wanted to do exactly that, I would use H-4895. My first choice would be 3&1/2 to 4&1/2gr of Bullseye. Kenny

I've used trail boss for some reduced loads. I have a 20VT in a 18" contender, but never worked any reduced loads in it.
