Thanks for the heads up on the per box price. If no one takes Aaron (long shot) up on his offer to help split up a case by end of day. I will back out of my offer to take 2000 rounds and order tomorrow from Midway hoping on the per box price referenced by Nitemann still being available.

Thanks to all on the board for consideration on my reversal as I need additional inventory, a free shipping eliminates an additional expense and these things have a habit of closing out quickly even at 16 and 18 cents a round. Jim

Thanks for the heads up on the free shipping for orders over $99 through tomorrow. Just ordered 2 bricks to add to my stash.

For sure, it works out better with the free shipping to buy the 2 bricks and have them dropped at your door. I've sold a few boxes of antique ammo and it seems the cheapest I can ship it for is about $14.00

Hopefully we will see further reduction in ammo prices in the future. It appears retailers have shelves full of rimfire stuff. Now, hopefully supply will far exceed demand and it turns into a buyers market.

Aaron

When ordering from Midway, watch that you buy enough to
justify the shipping charges.

Last spring I ordered a front sight for a M/L rifle. Just the sight. $12,
added postage in a 6" sq box full of padding no less. Was $9.
Sure didn't digest very well!

No reason in the world it couldn't have been mailed in a small padded envelope for a buck.

That's a decent per box price, too bad the shipping will kill the savings.

George,

If you order $100 worth of stuff, shipping is FREE. Along with the added benefit of no sales tax.

Not totally. Just had a "battle" with Midway that they needed more money to ship other stuff that I added to my "free shipping" 2000 Mk2's. If I bought 100 bucks more of stuff they also wanted to move they would give me 10 bucks off the shipping of "that" stuff. Gotta read the fine print I guess. Bottom line is I did get the Mk2's at a price I favored and that shipping was free. Shoulda quit right there. Jim

On a side note, I tried to place a $20 order with Midway. $5 to ship-perfect. Now, they force you to participate in the NRA Roundup. There is nowhere to opt out. I don't do anything I don't want to. I emptied my cart and left, over $.03. Larry can spend his money how he sees fit. He will NOT speak for mine. End of rant.
