Dan Lilja pronounces it LIL-ja (rhymes with "bilge-ah").

So now just translate that into the Queens English and you will have it. Larry

Coming form a country from which it's home born have NO accent , I've always pronounced it: Lil - Ja aka: Bill Jah

Just being a smart-ass - of course if one of either of my parent's own parents/grandparents pronounced it, Scottish/Irish and Romanian/Gypsy, you'd be hard pressed to spell it by what you heard.

Oh this could go pear shaped very quickly, Ken calling Dan after an evening on the highland best 12 year old malt. " good evening can I speak with bilge please"
