Last week I had a chance to get out to the range and try 22.6 grains of powder. I had rounds with 30 gr Berger and Kindler 30 grain gold. Sd came down significantly and the groups also improved. In fact the Kindler rounds were slightly better although no coyote would ever notice the difference. Both rounds were between 1/2 and 3/4 inch for 4 shots. Kindler rounds were faster I'm guessing due to what appears to be lesser bearing surface, 3725 avg. Berger was 3689. More tweaking would probably help but this is not a bench rest rifle.
Sure is nice to use a RCBS Chargemaster dispenser for powder for this round.
Merry Christmas to everyone or to the holiday of your choosing.
