No, not me. I'm not sure why you'd want to slow down such a nice zippy round down to the 2,500 fps range with such a heavy bullet in the small capacity case.

And a faster twist than 1/12 would be required too. I just can't see any advantage or use for such an arrangement. Am I missing something?

I purchased several items in a bundle that included a pac-nor barrel chambered in 20 viper (20 vt shortened) that has a 1-7 twist. Trying to find a use for it. I was also given another 20 caliber barrel with a 7.5 twist not chambered. I was given a lot of 50 g bullets. I realize that I will have to re-chamber to a larger case but am wanting to stay as small as I can using the reamers that I have. Might have to go to 204 ruger or something like a 20 practical but don't have those reamers. Just looking for ideas. What would you do?
Dan

Interesting. Sounds like an urban varmint assault rifle geared for sub sonic.
Barrel you describe sounds ideal for a 20BR/20-250/20x47/20Creedmoor with 55’s.

In my opinion a 7.5 or 7 will tear up bullets, maybe not in something slow like a 20VT.
Even 8 twist will 55's after some throat wear in fast 20's
