AB,
kinda resembles that squirrel,
but no, that is a ring tail cat. In south Texas and the hill country, they are considered pests. If you've got a trailer, bunkhouse or line shack they will get in the ceiling or walls and make the most god awful racket at night when you're trying to sleep,as they are always fightin' each other or are on the move.

New 20 Vartarg Build!! Lilja 1-12 Remington Varmint Contour BDL Varmint stock and my favorite Vartarg scope Leupold 12X fine duplex. Hope to have it togather by the weekend!!!!!!!!

New Vartarg is shooting wonderful with 32 gr bullets and H4198!!!!!

Picked up some Accurate 2200 to try in he 20 Vartarg!!!!!! Cant wait!!!!!

Accurate 2200 was grouping well and showing promise til warm weather. i get 100 fps difference and it aint working like before. I have gone to Viht N-130 shooting 3700 fps and grouping in the .1s and under. This is with a 12X Leupold fine Duplex and a 2 Lb. trigger. Got to Love the Vartarg!!!!!!

Changed remington 7 1/2 br primers and back to Fed 205 Match and the AA 2200 is shooting within 15 fps five shots with 39 SBK. Must be the remington primers causing the spikes.

Have you experimented with any of the other primers "out there" for this combination? Hopefully our supplier will come through with some AA2200 at long last -- itching to give it a whirl.

I get the feeling that there are lots of instances where changes in temperature, maybe even humidity, affect cartridge performance, but can't really prove that feeling.
