17 PPC Loads
Anyone have any tips on forming brass and loads for a 17 PPC. Just purchased a BAT with a Krieger 9" twist barrel. Thanks

Small steps to 17, from there you could use most of the powders intended for the 223 as they are similar in capacity. Benchmark and 4895H, Tac, Varget, are all listed in TK's book of secrets. Adam

Got a scope mounted on it. Just waiting on one more bushing to get the cases formed so I can neck turn.

Nice pictures!
Neck turning? Does the chamber have a tight neck dimension?
A FL die will serve you well.....prior to turning. Kevin |

Neck Turning
I had to turn mine for the Dreamsicle three times. My chamber is a .194" neck. I had to turn neck thickness down to .009" thickness. My starting loads were 24.5 gr Varget and 25 gr V-Maxes. My chrono would not read bullet velocity.
