I did hear, second hand, that he wasn't going to have inventory until next month? I'd call him and verify, as I didn't hear that straight from him.

Dave,

Comparing Nagel to Kindler Gold"s side by side what is your opinion of the two?

Sample size of only one barrel. And I haven't tried more than one powder with the Nagels.

Same powder charge, I get pressure signs with the Nagels but not with the Golds. Backed off until pressure signs go away, the Nagels are running about 30 fps slower, with a grain less powder.

Maybe slightly better accuracy with the Golds. But, I've never actually shot groups with them back to back. And not very many groups with either. Can't say for sure that they wouldn't be the same under the same conditions. But, I do think the Golds are just a bit more accurate, in this one barrel, with this one powder. Either way, both are under .5 MOA, so good to go.

Golds have slightly better BC. Chan doesn't try to publish one for his, but a little bit of 300 yard paper shooting, they are hitting an inch or two lower than the Golds starting with the same 100 yard zero.

Would say that in my barrel, they kill the same and are equally fur friendly (or not, on some hits...).

Some from the last few weeks. Not all with the .17 Predator, but over half of the 30 killed in the past month have been.

First triple of the year.

Thanks for the reply. I have only tried the 30 Golds in my 17 Tac and I am very pleased with them but with only a little more than 800 left I thought I had better start looking for a replacement. I have been considering the nagels and black hole but I have no first hand data on either one until now. Thanks again!!
