Default Burger bullets bought by Nammo Group

Burger bullets announced that they have been acquired by the Nammo Group in Norway that owns Lapua and VihtaVoori.

I don't think its really a good thing. Kinda doubting that they'll be as innovative or open to niche markets.

Default Not so sure about this...

This could be a good thing, but I'm not holding my breath.

As many of Walt Berger's .17 and other bullets that went away dropped by the ones that bought him out it couldn't get a lot worse, at least from the bullets that mattered to me that are already gone standpoint. Not much left I care about really.

I rarely see a buy out as a good thing. Look at GMK and the Tikka/Sako setup... They used to be world class rifles, now they are built to a budget rather than a standard. Still good, but not as good.

I like Berger bullets. I really hope they don't mess with the system too much!

Walt Berger hasn't owned the company for years. The seller is the third owner of the company.

realized they were over priced and if a hand made bullet is needed theres chan nagel? or that Hornadays or Noslers are available if a budget bullet is needed.

I think we can say goodbye to J4 jackets availability

Default hmm...

I have a hard time believing that when a European conglomerate buys a small US company that bodes well for the US consumer. Walt cutting and running is understandable, when your ready to let go it's mostly about timing and the opportunity. He found both.
