George my 17 cal. (19 badger necked down to 17) started life as the 17 pee wee. I made my own brass from 30 carbine but I got tired of turning a ton of brass off the necks and Calhoun came out with the badger so I hade my reamer reground to the 17 badger version now I can buy calhoons brass and just neck down. I bought one of his 19 Badger dies and had it turned into a bushing die. Makes things alot simpler these days. I also have to say the 17 Badger version has alot more performance than the pee wee version.

I'd sure like to have a fired case for these odd balls. I've never seen them except on here in pictures.
Before I got sick in '12 I had a collection of over 30 17 cases. They and two new reamers disappeared not to be found again. IF anyone's willing to send me one of each I'd be thankful as could be. IF it's not .17 or 20 please seat a bullet in it too. IF you don't have a .17VR, let me know and I'll swap you one of those and maybe a 4.6x30 case too. IF I can ever find the can of untouched 5.7's I'd put one of those in too. Thanks much, 2512 6th Ave 81003

Wow. Guys. Thanks. That's a lot more information than a Google search provided me. Looks like I've got some reading to do. I found a Nike hi-top shoe box full of once fired 30 carbine federal brass. Forget my dad had one for a couple of years.
