Default Looking for ideas on 17 Rem CZ loads

I have a pretty good stock of Berger 25GR Match HP bullets that I am looking for load feedback on. I just started loading for this caliber and so fat the best load for this bullet has been 24.7 of Varget with the 25GR Berger match HP. Its running about 3850fps and grouping just under an inch.

Let me know what loads have worked well for you in your CZ.

I also have a boatload of 20GR VMAX and some 30GR bergers as well. I just have a lot of the 25GR and I need to get a few hundred loaded for Prairie Doggin in June.

Default 17 loads

IMR 4320 is the powder that has worked best for me with 25 Gr. bullets.

Can you give me a ball park on grains? The accuracy with varget improved as I worked my way up.

I've been using the hornady 25gr hp with some 8208xbr under it. I couldnt tell you how many grains but I can tell you its 188 clicks on the harrells pistol measure. And thats for well under 1 inch @ 100

That velocity is in the FB range. Kind of a waste with a 17 Remington. Bet you can do a lot better and still keep it accurate. Larry

It was right at 24 Gr. of IMR 4320 That is max in my book work up to it. I used Rem 7.5 primers. YMMV.
