Default 17 fireball brass

while out of stock, it can be obtained by purchasing 17 fb ammo. currently can be found on auction sites for less than $1.50 with no bids. reformed brass from 5.56 for 45 cents a round is available on same site. also for the ones of us willing to redo our self 222 brass is available in different brands or buy once fired 5.56 and make our self. just my thoughts. ymv.:

Not much more labor intensive than making .20 VT from .223 brass, 'cept for one more step to get it down to 17 caliber. I don't have a .17FB any more, but I didn't notice a lot of difference in cases made from LC .223 or commercial .223. Never did buy a round of the factory stuff. For now, the .17 AH suits my needs just fine.

Jendkins & dungheap

My experience also....The 17HH and 17AH Pretty much do all the hard work in the field!

It has been mention, more than once guys, but with the price's they are asking for some of this brass based on the 221 case, it is well worth the effort to purchase a few dies and form your own from the easy to obtain and way less money with 223 brass. A very good project too do on rainy or cold days. Bill K ( And or a few of the members of a couple sites have 221 and 20 VT brass for sale, which you can easy neck to 17, and they sell it very reasonably priced, if you do not want too form your own)
