Default 14 A Hornet Starting Loads

Will be receiving my rifle early next week and will be shooting 9gr. solids from Marty at Twisted Barrel. I was wondering if anyone out there shoots these and has a pet load or a good starting load. This is my first 14 cal. and would like some kind of direction to go rather than grabbing at straws. Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated. Ralph

I fire formed a few cases with some 9gr TB bullets, I started at 10gr 1680. So far I haven't found a good load in my rifle for the 9gr. I also tried 9-9.5gr of Lilgun with less than satisfactory results. I think BighornBob has had better luck than I have so far with the 9gr, maybe he will chime in and share. I have been shooting 13 and 15 grain bullets with much better luck.

Default Starting Load

Thanks BB. I hope I don't have too much trouble to get them shoot or I'll try something heavier.
