Thats a very good idea Ray. I'll send them an email and ask about this.

Be aware that Berger has apparently changed the 40 grain bullet. Bruce has not yet had any good luck with the new bullet, for what that's worth. I haven't shot the new bullet, and haven't had a chance to do a back-to-back test of old versus new bullets and Bruce is out trying to score some venison.

You're building a LV? Keep us posted.

Thanks for your reply Harold,
I emailed my smith last night as to which way we should go, either the Kindler reamer or throating reamer. Still waiting for a reply. I have 2000 40gn's but i dont know if they are the new ones or old ones, and 2000 35gns. Yes, it will be a LV BR, stolle panda , lilja 11 twist, mcmillan stock, should have it in the new year.

20304 are the ones i have, but wouldn't that just be an shelf ID number? What i mean by shelf number is that all local gunshops might use that number to describe the 40gn bergers, the 35gn bergers are 20303. I would think the "Lot" number would denote the newer ones. My lot number is #9556.
But i might be wrong.

Sort of guessing at this point.

Oh, what I have shot well for us with a healthy jump - FYI.

Beautiful rifle..
Why don't those Redding stickers stick?.. I have them all over and the corners always peal up..must be a quality control issues. We better send Redding customer service some emails and notify them.

Default overlay

Harold,
I was wondering how/where you got your scoring overlay so they can measure groups. I am just starting out with group shooting, but would eventually like to have a 20-222 set up to do the same.

You have a photo of this? It sounds interesting.
