Thanks for that info, I know that these rifles were on the lower end, IIRR, I think they were around the $350 mark, when I bought them. I got them for the son/son in law and they didn't like them, said they weren't like the BETTER brands.

Changed their mines when all 3 of the calibers out shot their rifles, just had to do some good reloading and found what they wanted etc.

May have to look at those, need a couple of short action for the G-kids etc.

There is a smith in Utah who has rebarreled quite a few with good barrels and turned them into real shooters. The Mossberg with the barrel nut is being modified by some also including the new Remington 783. There is a smith in Wisconsin who is going to be selling new pre fits for those too.
