Default Lapua 221 Brass

I know it has been talked about for years, but saw an article today that claims Lapua has announced it will be producing .221 Fireball brass now. Announced at the 2014 SHOT show.

I had written to LAPUA in 2009 requesting that they consider making 221 FB brass and informing them that they were missing an untapped market by not producing 221 FB brass. Beside the 221 FB there are several wildcats that could use and be benefitted by the use of LAPUA brass. Sounds like they may be finally coming around to my way of thinking.

Default Lapua 221 brass

Brad, at Custom Reloading Tools (CRT) has a line on obtaining some brass and is taking a list of names for future delivery, you might want to check with him. Small Caliber club site and under general information will let you see the info, thus far. Bill K
