Default Sizing die question

So I got the 5 x 35 SMc and I was sizing the virgin brass and I noticed one side of the brass getting "shaved" when running it in the die. These are Lee dies. Is my decapping pin maybe not in the middle or could new factory Lee dies be "sharp" inside?

This is going to cause a problem while shooting because one side has been shaved down, right? This is head stamped brass and I would like to get a few loadings out of it before I tap in to my Lapua 6BR brass.

Sorry if this is a foolish/rambling question.
Joe

Likely happening at the base of the die, could be your shell holder is not centered or installed right? Look to see where it is shaving the brass. Larry
