Default Model seven stock

Just finishing up a couple model seven builds. What is your favorite stock for the seven? First one is a short barreled 6.5x47L for my daughter. Second is a 20 tac.

Thanks
Kevin

Thumbs up

I have an HS Precision on my .20VT and I like it alot. Well, except for the color. I got lucky and Bob Green had one sitting in his shop and did the build for me. Has been a great little shooter and the stock has held up well.

You can't beat the price and performance of the Boyd stock. I have two model 7's that I stocked with Boyds laminate stocks. I pillar bedded and glass bedded both stocks. They had a butt pad and were completely finished. At a $100, that's a bargain!! One is a 221 Fireball and the other is a 6X47L. Both shoot sub 1/2 moa.

I have two on Bell and Carlsons with the aluminum bedding block. I did have to do some dremel work so the Timney's would fit and around the bolt handle opening so the bolt handle closes against the action instead of the stock. They've held up very well with some really severe use.

My Model 7 in 7mm-08 has a dark gray H&S stock (no Al bedding block) also. The original stock was a factory wood stock for a youth model, and it is around 20 years old.

I have two Model 7's which have been rebarreled to .223AI and .257 DGR. Both have Bansner stocks.

Remington Model 673 stocks that I have seen are quite nice and will fit a Model 7.
