Default yote shot from bedroom window

I'm not a coyote hunter, but shot my second one this year from my upstairs window. I had seen this one a couple of times in the past week in the cow pasture behind the house. Shot it just before dark at about 110 yds. Used my Ruger #1 .219 DW PDK(1.9" 30-30 case,35*) shooting 55 NBT at 3625 with 33.0gr Varget. Must have been a young dog, doubt it weighed 25 lbs. A couple I've shot behind my house in the past went 40-45 lbs. About 3/4" exit hole on broadside shot. Called my neighbor that owns the land and cows to make sure that he wants them shot. "Shoot'em all" he said, they bother the cows especially around calving time. Going to keep a rifle in the bedroom closet for the rest of the winter, might try my .204 Wasp next with 39BK.

Default slippers?

Not this time, but if I see one before about 9:00 A.M. I'll be shootin in PJ's and slippers. I've seen them about all hours of the day. Last Wed I stepped out of the shower and saw one, by the time I dressed and got a rifle out of the safe it was gone. With the rifle in the closet, I could be shootin in the buff!!

LOL!

Definitely a learning youngster. Older they get the more weary/spooky they become. Nice shot. Be hard now not to hang by the window at dusk with smoke stick in hand.

Last week I had one walk through the edge of the yard at high noon. I grabed a rifle and went to the patio door wich I found frozen shut, went to the front door and he must have heard it open because he was way out in the field with the after burners on. Told the wife I was taking all the screens out of the the windows, She dosn't think its a great idea but most of my really good ideas meet with resistance.

Default coyote blind

My coyote blind has everything a weary 65 yr old shooter needs, indoor plumbing to the left, queen size bed for naps, refreshments downstairs, reloading in the basement. I need to find a small table to set here for steadier shots.

If another coyote wanders by maybe I can bloody the barrel of my #3 .204 Wasp. The rifle killed thousands of PD's as a .219 Wasp before I had it rebarreled this year.

The coyote that I shot yesterday was almost to the top of the first hill above the left fence post. I need to learn how to put arrows on my pics like Silverfox does.

If they would stop in this area I wouldn't have to shoot through the tree limbs.

Farther left, more open area for shooting.
