Even though the event is not authentic, there is still a given level of entertainment value. Just because some things in life may not be real... does not mean that as men there will not be a involuntary verbal or mental response from us. At least at first glance anyway. It made me cringe.

Once when I was about 10 years old I let fly, with a crude homemade slingshot, at a robin cruising over our back yard. I nailed him and was more shocked and dismayed than the poor dead bird was. (Kind of like Randy Johnson hitting that pigeon with a fastball.)
There are so many faked videos on YouTube now, and it's humorous to me how many people cannot detect they're fake right away, and how pathetically they try to convince others they're real. |
