Default Has anybody done a 20 TCM or 17 TCM?

I've got a nice little AR carbine in 22 TCM. I don't like the factory pistol ammo since the lead nose gets deformed on auto-loading from time to time so I just hand load the factory made 22 TCM brass.

I figured by now somebody must have worked out a 20 caliber or 17 caliber or both and I would love to know who did the reamers and dies?

Doing the "20 TCM" at this time. Made up a dummy round, sent it to JGS and had them cut a reamer. The 22 TCM is proprietary and one outfit I talked with wouldn't make a reamer. (no dummy round at that time)
By building a dummy round, the specs (other than the caliber change) were a little different so having a reamer cut was no problem.
Reamer and barrels are out being cut. Dies will be made once I can get once fired brass. Not sure who will build the dies yet.

Thought of doing a "17 TCM" at the same time but I had a couple of 20 caliber barrels that could be "re chambered" so I decided to hold off till I figured out if I really like the TCM. Time will tell.

What angle shoulder are going with on the 20 TCM? "Troterig" went with a 30 degree shoulder which would probably feed better in my type of rigs. How long does "JGS" take to fill a reamer order?

Thanks in advance,
Charlie

Took a little longer than PT&G and cost a bit more too.: Maybe 3 months?? ( Oh well, at least I gave them a chance.
All I did was neck down the 22 TCM case to 20, made sure the body didn't swell at the shoulder, stuffed a 20 grain bullet in the neck, down to the shoulder neck junction, shipped it off and had them use it for specs. The reamer was cut with ZERO freebore.
As far as feeding, no worries because I single feed on Savage actions. And if I want to change calibers, it's just a matter of swapping barrels and bolt heads if needed. I'am not expecting to get my barrels back at least till the spring thaw.

Offhand, that sounds a little like a miniaturized .300 Blackout. What sort of velocities do you get out of that one, and with what powder?

JGS is estimating 8 weeks for a reamer right now. Well, they have for the last two I ordered in the last few months.
