rippit and others,

I have a custom Sako small AI action with a SS Hart 223AI 1-14T 20.5" medium varmint weight, 0.830 muzzle OD. The walnut stock is solid piece from Fajen, has a roll-over cheek piece and semi beavertail forearm and bedded to action. Overall the rifle in 95-96%, on the conservative side. The chamber is a tight neck and brass has to be cleaned up to fit properly.

(SCOPE NOT INCLUDED, and I'll leave the Weaver base and rings affixed.)

This is a personal gun, I reworked the stock with 20+ coats of True Oil, and can leave shinny or make satin to your liking. I have not shot this rifle with fire-formed loads so no idea how it shoots. While fire-formed the results were between 1/2 and 3/4" just throwing something together with very light load of Benchmark and Berger 52g Match Moly. I bought it used locally from the family of a deceased BenchRest Shooter/Gunsmith, which also happened to be career Master Machinist. Rifle will probably shoot fairly well, I'll find out in the next couple weeks unless one of you buy it, then you can find out.

Make serious offer to: Info@AceBallistics.Com

Be certain to include "Sako 223AI" in your email Subject Line and Body. FFL to FFL of course, unless Face-to-Face in GA.

Thanks, and Gods best,
Tom Mc

(BTW, I am not 100% on selling this potential little jewel, just another wild hair. I did buy the 20VarTarg reamer from Mr. David on this board, and I'm thinking SWITCH BARREL! ALSO, I am not able to monitor board or emails much if the time during the week. TRADES, generally not an option uless its really something needed, you know the feeling!)

I have a Sako Riihimaki heavy barrel that has been rebarreled with a Shilen stainless in Tac.20. I traded for this gun and have not shot it. The benchrest shooter I traded with said his friend had it made up and never shot it either. I gave $900 for it and would like to get that out of it. Please e-mail me if interested craig.baird@att.net. Thanks, Craig

223 Ackley Improved.
Right Bolt, Right Port. With Swindlehurst custom ejector.
Action by Vic Swindlehurst
Barrel by Rob Mclennan 1-14 twist
Maple Laminated stock.
Jewel Trigger
Warne Rings.
Redding Dies.
Lapua Brass.

Very Classy Varmint Rifle

It is in Canada. If you have an FFL that is willing to import then it would be worth the wait.
