Still got to finish metalwork and stock painting.

If you are looking for something a little different, how about building it in a one piece stock ? The wood comes down both sides of the receiver. The action is floated (meaning no attachment or contact with the stock) and the stock is attached via two screws, through a steel plate imbedded in the forearm, to the underside of the barrel. It's unique, if that appeals to you, I've only seen one like it. Also, it is a 222 Rem Mag with a rimless extractor. If interested, I'll see if I can get some pics. and get them posted, let me know.

Sounds like an interesting stock. I'll vote in favor of posting a picture of it.

Unhappy 222 Rem Mag Cadet in one piece stock

I have some pics. of the one piece stock but I'm obviously doing something wrong as I cannot get the images attached. I've tried the "Insert Image" icon, the "paper clip" attachment command, the "Manage Attachments" button below and nothing is working. I have the pics. on both my hard drive and Photobucket. Can someone give me a brief, but step by step, tutorial on how the heck to get the photos posted ? Apparrently there are several people above having no problems......HELP !!

when posting from photobucket copy the part labeled "img code" it would be the same as what you put but there should be a IMG in front of the picture link in square brackets and /IMG at the end of the link in square brackets. if you take out the @ symbol in this it will work[@ IMG] http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...m5-5-08009.jpg[@ /IMG ] :
