Default Another Cooper 20 Headed Home

I am so pleased with my Cooper 21 Phoenix in 20VT, that I bought a Cooper 51 Varmint Laminate in 20 Tactical. I am off on vacation for a week or so, but when I get back, the rifle brass, and mounts, should be waiting for me. Hopefully the Redding neck bushing die set won't keep me waiting long, since I had to order it out of the USA, and the scope should be along shortly as well. I have plenty of R-7 and some Benchmark, as well as plenty of 32gr v-max bullets, but I plan to pick up some 39-40gr bullets as well, to try out. The gophers are really going to hate me next year, when I retire and move South.

Ha, the Cooper Bug strikes again. Pictures and a range report are required when you get everything set up.

Good luck finding the 39ers. If you do find some, let me know. I am down to my last 100 and need to order some more. It has been tough for the last 4 to 5 months.

Stubble,

stubble: Congrats on your second Cooper! It's good to know the "Cooper Curse" is still in effect and spreading.

Besides your stash of RL-7, you'll also want to snag some A2200; the other excellent performer in the VT case besides H4198. Not so sure you'll want to use BM, as it's on the slow side for the VT case, but great in the 204R and 223.

As for bushings, looks like ramos set you onto CRT. I've done much business with them, and can attest to their quality products and fair prices; good folks to do business with.

Nice. Can't wait for pics.

My 20TAC likes 32gr Blitzkings over VV N133. It's a zippy calibre. Enjoy!

AA2520 and the Sierra 39's!! All you need to know for the TAC!! Same as the 204 Ruger.......AA2520 and 39 Sierra's!! It just takes less of it to do the same job in the TAC!!! The TAC should have been the "factory" round!! GHD. PS: If the AA2520 is not available then Reloader 10X will work as a substitute!!

I have lived in Fort McMurray for the past 34 years. We do however own a home in Camrose, where I will be moving to full time next summer.

As for components, the Vartarg loves R-7 behind the 32 gr v- max, and I am looking for 10X for the Tactical.
