Those AZ coyotes are kinda skinny. Be careful you don't hurt them too bad.
If I were moving The Arsenal of Democracy, I'd be moving them in pieces. Bolts, cylinders, slides and shotgun barrels in a separate trip from the rest of the parts. My hangup.

I moved 3 years ago, but only 400 miles. They would not take guns, ammo, powder or primers. The mover I plan to use this time won’t either. I have a Chevy Colorado with a camper shell. I think I may be able to move it all in 3 trips. I may try to slip my 7 AR uppers in my regular stuff. Technically, it is not a gun, it’s a piece of a gun. Then, I can move the lowers and bolt guns myself. Biggest problem is, I can’t make the drive in 1 day. I worry about leaving the loaded truck in a hotel parking lot overnight, but have no choice.

I would also suggest to make sure you have window shades on the camper so nobody can see inside, and cover everything inside with a blanket. Try to find a well lighted parking place next to your room, and prefer a first floor room next to the truck.

Do you do any varmint hunting ? What set up do you like best. Here in Phoenix obviously the AR based rifles are the most popular. I have recently joined the Phoenix Varmint Callers Inc group.
My .204 Ruger arrived yesterday. I have a Sightron 4.5-14 scope for it and hope it shoots well.
My main rifle will be my custom Twisted Zebra with 3.5-15x50 in .17 Remington that shoots amazingly.

cmatera:

DO NOT PARK THAT LOAD IN a MOTEL LOT!

At least not in Pueblo. Know you're a long way from here.

Article in this mornings paper.

"lady had a "travel bag she left in her truck.
Cosmetics, costume?jewelry, lap top, shoes
and: GET THIS!!! : $200 worth of Adult Toys"

Yep: Chieftain.com "Travel Bag Stolen North Side"

Don't sound like anything is safe anymore

I hope my adult toys don't get stolen. They're worth a lot more than $200!

Look forward to more info, your specifications and reports on the 22BR
From what I've seen on weather casts...Phoenix summer temperatures are unbearable - all the Alberta snowbirds are coming home for April 1
