Ok Ray $$$ you son of a gun! Lol

Just so I’m clear, I’d need the CZ 7.62x39 or a Kiff Rem cone nose bolt for a 700 build?

I might look for a CZ action but I do have the perfect 700 walnut stock for a HB 22 Jet build...

Gary I'm sold on the Kiff cone nose bolt. Eddie has done several for me including the 20 Boomer. Just throw a case in and close the bolt. Eddie has even modified the bolt nose of a standard Rem bolt so a cone breech barrel could be used. Hurry up and get a 22 Jet reamer. LOL

You know where this is going right? Build a nice accurate 22 Jet bolt and still not be content... then it’ll be a #1 or maybe a TCR barrel

All I can say is wow!Lastnight I loaded up 13.5 grains of 296 behind a 30gr vmax shot great, made me look like a better shooter than I am (especially from a 10” contender). Getting towards evening and looked like a big fireball and seems a plenty loud though.

The 40gr.sp/4227 or 1680 or Enforcer loads are not nearly so good and even the 35 vmax didn’t shoot bugholes at 25 yards like the 30s did. I need to run them over a chrony now.

Anyhow if you have a 22 Jet might keep your eyes open for some lightweight 30 gr bullets??

Perfect day to shoot and I have to say that the little Contender made me look good with all loads. The 40 gr TCM bullets did well. Although I couldn’t keep them all in one big hole like I did the 30 vmax they shot very well (4227). Im so hoping to pop a ground hog with it next week!
