Thumbs down Remington 799

I bought two when they were imported by Charles Daley. They are rough, The bolt is very balky when opening and closing. The magazine was sub-par for feeding and pick up. The Mini Mark was a far better action.

I tore down both rifles built on the 799 and had the barrels put on different actions.

I'd say don't waste your money.
