Have had many problems with UPS; I use the others when possible.

Friend's BiL was a loss specialist with them, said problems are because of their policies.

They thoroughly destroyed a Pelican shipping case and pointed to the not responsible for damage to shipping cases clause. I filed in small claims court and when they called me I said this had to be intentional and I’ll let the judge decide. They paid up. It is one thing to scratch or chip a case, another all together to intentionally destroy the damn thing, and that was obviously what someone had done.

In 1992 I had a FFL and ordered a custom Kimber for a guy in AK. North of $20K and it was lefty sitting on the doorstep by UPS, where I found it when I got home. Clearly marked as needing adult signature.

They are a menace. But, that being said some of their people have been really great.
