Thanks Bill

I will take note of that. 35gr. and 37gr. will be the bullet weight I concentrate on the most. In the past a 37gr. hp has been a real good pelt saver.

Have any of you tried the 33 or 39gr. Calhoun bullets? Has anyone tried them on Coyotes?

I wanted to try the 33 grain ones, but my state is now ran by commie's and can only think of saving the Condor's, so we now can only shoot any game or non-game animal with lead free ammo. ( I should use the word lead free bullets) Bill K

Without pictures it didn't happen.

Hey man, how are you doing? Is that 17/205 still kicking? How is the barrel holding up?

Still using Chan's 30gr. bullets?
Is fur still bringing fairly good prices in your area?

back to the subject of 17 vs 20 cal, may not make a difference on coyotes but if you shoot fox sized critters the 204 more often than not will blow holes you can stick your hand thru.

That's a great point. I would think that a 17/204 would blow holes through them also.
