New .221 Fireball and no Dies
I have one of the Whittaker fireballs coming. I have a box of Nosler brass I bought a while back but no Fireball dies. Looking at my Die sets, it looks like I can seat bullets with a RCBS Comp. .223 seating die. I know I will need neck or FL dies, but can I easily use the .223 die for seating?
Thanks |

221
you can use the rcbs comp. die to seat any 22 caliber, even hornet and bee going small or 22-250, or whatever going larger. just use the correct shellholder and adjust for length. same set with correct body insert and bullet stem will do 17 or 20 cal.. I use this style seater as I have large finger and poor dexterity. try it , I believe you will like it.

l h jenkins,
I thought that was probably the case. I have the RCBS seating die with the window for a .223 and .22 hornet and thought they looked the same. Only has .22 marked on it. Thanks |
