Default Frustrating experience with Devcon

I have purchased it in 1lb kits for at least 20 years and it has always come in containers that contain 80% air. I use two horse syringes that I have cut the top off to measure the proportions 2.5:1 into or weigh it 9:1 on my triple beam.

The stuff I bought six months ago the hardener ran out and I still have a quarter to a half of the resin/steel left. Who knows if I got too much resin or if I got too little hardener, but I suspect the latter. It looked about the same as it usually does.

So I still have a quarter of the resin and no hardener and so I called Devcon and they said there is no way to obtain any more hardener except to purchase another lb kit.

True that.

The stuff is about $100/lb. I was hoping to be able to purchase some hardener so that I could use the rest of what I have.
