No experience with either chrono being discussed, but I'll just add that my simple and inexpensive Shooting Chrony (Beta) is easy to set up, gives reliable readings, and gives me the ability to shoot groups as well as chronograph at the same sitting. My first one lasted for 26 years before going TU.
Some of the smallest groups I've ever shot with my Cooper 20VT were shot while chronographing my loads. I've always been of the mind that if anything is touching your barrel, forget shooting small groups, as your POI can and will be affected. It's certainly NOT an Oehler or even close, but it works and works for under $150. For years I had planned on getting an Oehler eventually, but this little rig works so well and cost so little, no further plans to replace it. Sorry for the topic divergence.

I use magneto speed and as others have said poi shift but not group size. Mine has always read about 20-30 FPS slow for some reason. I have sent it back to them but they said it is working properly. I guess it is very consistent but I just have to add about 30 FPS to the readings I get. I have confirmed this on multiple rifles with my ballistic data.
