Default Nice Job

Very nice buck and awesome story also, I like your way of relating all the details of the hunt. I have two former coworkers who now live in your state and they seem to send me pictures of deer similar to yours on an annual basis.
One question, I also appreciate Leica glass/rangefinder combinations, which one is it that you are using?
Thanks,
Stan

Thanks Stan, I just have the Leica 10x42 binos, got them in 2001, and they have been a great investment. I use a smaller RF'er, it's an older Nikon, I'm looking at the new Halo RF that has the angle compensation, with my current one you have to range trees at your stand height , or if you range the ground, subtract some yardage for the actual distance.

Seems like for bowhunting I prefer a separate smaller RF'er, but then again I've never used the Leica combo for any length of time for comparison.

I didn't see how impressive that rack was til it was laid out on the concrete.

Great dear and great job. Kenny

I used to bow hunt nearly every day from Nov. 1 to the end of Jan.

Now I can't hunt more than 10yd from my 4 wheeler.

Old age and cancer suck.

I have two kids who might think I am helping them but in reality

I couldn't go without them.

Thanks Kenny, and keep at it!

I take the HR200 on every hunt. Keeps me from burning out stands as quick, IMO, but I also set up for the wind. I may put up 3 stands at a good trail crossing funnel, but I had the wind on this guy, no way was he going to smell me.
