Looks neat. Have fun in Kodiak. Just got back from there Friday night. Powerhouse has decent sushi and the Klondike burger at Henry's is pretty good.

Bill:

Looks like the trophy you wanted!
You'll need to see a few of those stoves
to pay for that trip!

Good luck and thanks for sharing with us.

Congrats Bill
I still have interest in your fireplace design. good to see a photo to look at.
Do you have the specifications of what the burn time, heat output, emissions. cubic fire box and flue size are? might as tell me the log size while were doing number. Many people will ask.
Whom is it selling under? contact information?
Price tag? Dealer / distributor pricing?

Talk soon
Chig

Doug-Thanks for the tech-support!!! That looks much better!

Aaron-Thanks for the recommendations at Kodiak. Cath was born there but left before memory and has always wanted to go see it....So, we are planning a trip in the Spring with some friends that have a Sprinter van like us and we plan to do a road trip up and then take the ferry across to Kodiak Is.

The Fireplace has features of my design unlike any other appliance. A really "Cool" retractable door that is also easy to clean (tho the door stays really clear). Oven is not only great for food but transfers heat after complete combustion of the fuel, to the side masonry/tile/glass/soapstone surfaces.

We tested out at 8" clearances to rear combustibles and stack temps stayed constant at about 350 F. both of which I was told before the test would not be possible. But if did it with ease! As I said this is a design that should have been on the market years ago....but, I had to do it myself, to get it there!

Six inch chimney and the simple installation makes us very competitive with competition considering all installation requirements.

We are working on promotional info and costs of production now, and should have it all by Christmas....I will post info here for those interested....

But, was told it will take a minimum of 90 days for the EPA review....if lucky!
So, it will be second quarter before units will be available to release to customers.

Though this is a competitive unit in cost, it is really not for garages or shops.
We have a design for this tho, and a Smokeless Smoker/Grill design also.
Plus the small unit will be available in Natural Gas and Propane also.

It has impressed most all of the Wood Heat industry testing folks and others that have seen it on its looks and performance!

Bill

Bill,
Hope you do very well when it comes to sales time. You (AND Catheron) deserve it for all the hours you've put into that design!
Regards,Ken.

Ken
Your emphasis (AND Catheron) is spot on!
Like was said about Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers....She did EVERYTHING Fred did...and she did it in high heels, a dress AND BACKWARDS!!!!!

Cath went through all I did with this design and development, AND HAD TO PUT UP WITH ME, TOO!

Quite and achievement, believe me!

Pent up interest has been tremendous! Now it just has to live up to or exceed hopes!

Thanks for the well wishes....

Bill
