Default 20 Bobcat Dies

Went out to visit with Kevin Weaver this afternoon and found he had gotten in some 20 Bobcat dies that I have been waiting on. These dies are from CH 4D and look very nice. Kevin has about 7-8 more sets of these for those that have been looking and having trouble getting dies for this caliber. Love the 20 bobcat but dies have been a bit of a problem. Heck

Default 20 bobcat

Basically a 222 necked down to 20 cal, 40* shoulder and the sides blown out. Kevin Weavers design. When he built mine he had Hornady dies, curious as to why he went with CH4D's.

Default 20-222 imp 35 degree shoulder?

I looked at the link above but had to go to the home page and then select cartridge comparison.
http://www.tripledeuce.net/Cartridge...isons_0SJN.php

I bought a reamer set that was 20/222 35 degree shoulder and I assumed it was called a bobcat. Would it be something else?
Thanks, Dave

Default 35 degree

The std 20-222 is 23* and the Bobcat is 40*. I wonder on your reamer if the sides are blown out or if it's like the 20-222 with a 35* shoulder? Sounds like a custom reamer, maybe the previous owner didn't want that sharp of a shoulder but wanted something other than a 23*.

Default Die cost

As I see Kevin pretty often he said he would just invoice me for them but think he said $107 but could be wrong by a few bucks as was dealing on a barrel at same time.

Default Chuck

Hope all is good with you. Kevin said he couldn't get a date from Hornady and they didn't want to make dies just from old order # so wanted brass and start a whole new project. Redding was not able to promise a date so best with CH4D. Very good looking dies that are very well polished.
Would like to get chance to visit in person but our dog hunting has gotten real bad and don't know when we will recover from drought. Heck
