Default TC Contender barrel

Does anyone have a 16” 357 Maximum Contender barrel they would like to part company with? Prefer SS 16” barrel but would consider either stainless or blued barrel 14” to 20”.

Let me know what you have and what you need for it.

Thanks,

I have a stainless MGM 357 mag barrel that flat shoots. It isn't a maximum though. My son used it the last 2 years to hunt with. We were shooting
140 grain FTx and n110. If it will work then let me know.

I am looking for a barrel to use for handgun deer hunting in Illinois so anything over 16” - 18” would require some shortening work, along with rechambering. I am currently using a 14” Bullberry 30/221 (AKA 300 Whisper) but would like to go to 357 Max for additional range and power.

What length is your MGM and what do you need for it? Feel free to PM if you wish.

Thanks

I donf know why I posted it as a MGM. It is a bullberry with their match chamber in 357. It is 20" long. I don't think it would be what you want to cut down. It has a gentry custom barrel band and a few things to make it a really nice rifle barrel.

Agree. Sounds too nice to modify.

There is no limit on case length for straight-walled cases (45-70 in a handgun anyone? ) but bottle necked cases are limited to 1.4” in length. Cartridges must be at least 30 caliber and have commercial ammo listed with a minimum of 500 foot pounds of energy along with several other requirements.
